JUNIOR

Grade 4

Our Grade 4 students are encouraged to develop love for learning that will stay with them throughout their life. Our experienced teachers encourage enhanced curriculum and promote critical thinking and problem solving. French is introduced in this grade level.

Grade 5

Our Grade 5 students are challenged with more independent learning, research, note taking, public speaking, presentation skills and formal tests & examinations. This accelerated program prepares them for the challenges of the rotary system that begins in the intermediate division.

Grade 6

At Khalsa Community School, we cover all the requirements of the Ontario curriculum at an enriched level. Grade 6 students are prepared rigorously for the EQAO testing in language arts and mathematics. Small class sized  allows for individual attention and students become confident, well groomed academic achievers with a high level of self-esteem and increased confidence in their capabilities.
