INTERMEDIATE

Grade 7

The focus in the intermediate Division is to prepare the student for high school with a rotary system in geography, history, science as well as other specialty subjects. Grade 7 students learn to adapt to the expectations and demands of different teachers. They have to use organization skills to manage their class work as well as take responsibility for their class participation.

Grade 8

Our challenging Ontario Curriculum is modified for this grade level with emphasis on independent learning and research skills. We focus on expanding the basics by challenging the children with research, note taking, public speaking, presentation skills and formal tests and examinations. This accelerated program prepares them for the challenges of the rotary system that begins in the intermediate division.
