Grade 7 The focus in the intermediate Division is preparing the student for high school with a rotary system for history, geography and science as well as other speciality subjects, The students learn to adapt to the expectation and demands of different teachers and taking responsibility for their work along with using their organization skills. Our emphasis is toward the development of independent learners. Grade 8 Our challenging Ontario Curriculum is modified for this grade level with emphasis on independent learning and research skills. We focus on expanding the basics by challenging the children with research, note taking, public speaking, presentation skills and formal tests and examinations. This accelerated program prepares them for the challenges the challenges of the rotary system that begins in the intermediate division.
